ARE THERE ANY POTENTIAL SIDE EFFECTS OF THE TREATMENTS?
With any treatment, there will always be potential risks and side effects. Luckily, none are too drastic. These can include slight bruising, mild discomfort, and over or under relaxation of treated areas. We will always discuss these in detail prior to you paying for any procedures.
WILL MY FACE FREEZE IF I HAVE BOTOX?
Not if you are in the right hands... which you will be at Refine! When botox is administered by a medical professional, this treatment should look natural and still leave you with expression. It should not freeze your face.
WHAT IF I'M NOT HAPPY WITH MY TREATMENT?
At Refine, your happiness is the most important thing. If you aren't happy with your treatment for whatever reason, please do get in touch and we will endeavor to put it right.
WILL IT HURT?
For our micro needling treatment, we numb the area with a local anesthetic cream, so you'll barely feel a thing! With botox and filler injections you may feel a slight sting, but it's absolutely nothing to worry about.
ARE THE EFFECTS PERMANENT?
No the effects aren't permanent. They will tend to wear off after around 3-6 months. For a longer lasting effect, we recommend getting regular treatment (every few months).
IS BOTOX JUST FOR WRINKLES?
It may surprise you that no, it isn't! Botox can also be used to combat excess sweating (hyperhidrosis), reduce muscle spasticity, soften jaw lines and can help with grinding of teeth. It can also be used as a preventative measure, before those static wrinkles start to appear.
